Each seated on a rockwork base, with hoofed feet and wings rising from their front haunches, one with unglazed head modeled with large ears flanking a ferocious human face below a twisted horn, the other a snarling leonine face framed by a spiked mane below a pair of horns, a large flange rising from the back left unglazed and painted red, both covered in controlled amber, green and cream-colored glazes, restored--27 3/8 and 28 1/4in.
