A RARE CARVED BLUE AND WHITE BALUSTER VASE
KANGXI

The sides carved with a blossoming prunus tree, the trunk and branches in pale blue and the blossoms reserved in white on shaded areas of underglaze blue, below a narrow band of pine needles encircling the high shoulder, the neck with similarly executed budding branches overlaid by a ribbed band, all within double-line borders, star cracks--17 3/8in. (44cm.) high
