The deep bowl with scalloped rim decorated overall in fresh, bright colored enamels and gilt with a dense pattern of overlapping fan reserves containing flowers or figures, the rim gilt above a narrow band of florets and the foot encircled by a band of gilt flowers, inscribed in gilt on a large black fan panel on the base which attests to the quality of the bowl- 5 3/8 in. (13.5 cm.) diameter
