The pediment with elaborately carved spreadwing eagle flanked by bull's-eye carved plinths above a hinged square glazed door opening to a white-painted dial with Roman chapter ring, the spandrels embellished with gilt C-scrolls above a verre eglomisé panel flanked by waterleaf-carved supports over a hinged rectangular door with verre eglomisé panel above a rectangular base, on four ball feet--37 3/8in. high, 17in. wide, 5 1/8in. deep
