The hood with molded swan's neck pediment terminating in carved rosettes centering a carved floral finial, the tympanum with carved lappets above an arched glazed door opening to an engraved brass dial
with Roman and Arabic chapter rings enclosing a sweep seconds ring, calendar day and day of week apertures flanked by cast brass spandrels surmounted by a lunar dial, inscribed "SIKKO HAAKMA LEEUWARDEN" flanked by four fluted colonettes above a waisted case with blind fret carving above a shaped rectangular thumbmolded door flanked by fluted quarter columns over a box base centering a rectangular panel edged with applied molding flanked by chamfered fluted pilasters above a molded base, on ogee bracket feet (works and finial restored, feet pieced)-- 103 3/4in. high, 21 1/2in. wide, 11 1/2in. deep
