A DIRECTOIRE ORMOLU-MOUNTED MAHOGANY COIFFEUSE D'HOMME
LATE 18TH CENTURY
With rectangular hinged ormolu-bound top reversing to a mirrored panel and later grey St. Anne marble top above a frieze fitted with three panelled drawers, the sides similarly panelled, on circular tapering legs headed by fluted panels, ending in casters-30in. (76cm.) high, 37½in. (96cm.) wide, 21½in. (54cm.) deep
A virtually identical coiffeuse d'homme from the Estate of Katherine Bache Miller was sold in these Rooms, 17-19 April 1980, lot 177.
