Nono was one of the artist's daughters and the sister of Marthe. She was also the sitter for Nono, Portrait de Madamoiselle Lebasque, by Henri Matisse, painted in 1909 (coll. The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Bequest of Miss Adelaide Milton de Groot, 1967).
