For the attribution see two still lives by de Coninck in the Musée Fesch, Ajaccio and Ca' d'Oro, Venice, which include a similar fountain (cf. La natura morta in Italia, ed. F. Zeri, 1989, II, p. 805, figs. 948 and 949, illustrated p. 804)
