The round iron plate is pierced and carved with four maple leaves on a stream with dots of dew in brass inlay on the leaves--height and width 7.8cm., thickness 4.75mm.

This unsigned Kinai school example is in the style of the first master of the school who worked in Kyoto and studied the Kyo-Shoami style. It is believed that he died in the ninth month of 1696.
