EDO PERIOD (CIRCA 1850), SIGNED MITSUYOSHI WITH KAO
The shibuichi plate is carved and inlaid with a design of a street performer and two children at play, one with a dragonfly on a string. It is inlaid in two tones of gold, silver, shakudo and copper--length 9.6cm., width 1.4cm., thickness 5.75mm.
