AN EDO KINKO KOZUKA
EDO PERIOD (CIRCA 1800)

The face of the shakudo plate is carved with a stone surface. It is decorated with a large pine tree trunk of copper with shakudo branches and needles, and with a plum branch in shakudo with two silver blooms and a silver bud. There are gold accents on both plants--length 9.6cm., width 1.5cm., thickness 5.25mm.
