Worked in the Diamond-in-the-Square pattern, the central blue diamond embellished with elaborate tulip-quilting framed by burgundy sashing with blue corner blocks with pinwheel, star and chevron stitching surrounded by tulip-quilted green spandrels enclosed by burgundy sawtooth-quilted sashing and blue floral-quilted corner blocks framed by a purple flower basket-quilted border with blue wreath-stitched corner blocks, with a green binding, the backing initialled "M.B."--77 x 75in.
