Of shaped oval form, raised on four openwork acanthus scroll feet, the elaborate acanthus scroll border enclosing panels of flowerheads amid trelliswork, each side with a cypher and Earl's coronet, the end panels enclosing engraved acanthus and laurel and headed by rocaille, the two bottle holders with three acanthus scroll supports, the later vase-shaped faceted cut-glass bottles with circular stoppers, marked under base and on bottle holder rims, stamped under base STORR & MORTIMER and engraved under base No1, 46,0--13 3/4in.
