A. VALETTE, DE L'INSTITUT MAI MDCCCLXXIV' and impressed with the Collas reduction seal 21¾in. (55.2cm.) high, 22½in. (57.1cm.) long, on Brescian marble base with separate tag inscribed 'INTERDICTION EN FRANCE DES COMBATS DE TAUREAUX (Ord. du 4 Septembre 1873), rich medium brown patina
