The mirror with divided cartouche-shaped plate within a pierced foliate-carved frame, the shaped surround pierced and carved with entwined floral garlands, rocaille and sphinxes; the bureau with serpentine top above a cushion-moulded slant-front and three drawers, each centrally decorated with floral sprays within an ochre cartouche against a scarlet ground, the sides similarly decorated, the plinth carved with rocaille, on similarly carved shaped bracket feet-the mirror 80in. x 68in.
