Many rubbings of the Huangting Sutra have been made. This verison has especially plump characters, the calligraphy is lively and the ink has the deep color of old ink. The album includes seals of Chen Shun, Wang Chong and other Ming dynasty collectors. There are also colophons by Wang Shizheng, Dong Qichang, Chen Jiru and others. This album is one of the best Song dynasty rubbings of the Huangting Sutra.
