A FINE MUGHAL STYLE PALE GREENISH-WHITE JADE DISH
18TH/19TH CENTURY
With very thin, rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim, the center of the interior carved in shallow relief with a large chrysanthemum surrounded by a band of foliate arabesques pendent from a narrow border of leaves at the rim, raised on a thin, flared foot ring encircling another chrysanthemum which fills the base, the translucent stone of soft pale celadon tone--6 7/8 in. (17.5cm.) diam., box
