TANG DYNASTY
Each elegant dignitary shown standing with erect posture on a shallow shaped base, with hands clasped at the chest within the voluminous sleeves of the high-waisted orange tunics falling in well-detailed folds down to the upturned tips of the shoes, each face finely modeled with stern expression below a double-lobed official's hat, retaining traces of orange, red and black pigment and white slip--each approximately 16 1/2 in.
