A PAIR OF YELLOW-GLAZED DRAGON BOWLS
GUANGXU MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD
With deep rounded sides rising from a cylindrical foot, the exterior with incised decoration of pairs of dragons in mutual pursuit of flaming pearls, divided by fire scrolls and clouds and above foam-crested waves at the base, the interior plain, covered inside and out in a rich egg-yolk yellow glaze darkening in the recesses--4 7/8 in. (12.4cm.) diam. (2)
