YONGZHENG MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD

Both the cover and the bowl painted in underglaze-blue, iron-red and yellow, aubergine, green and black enamels with two five-clawed dragons leaping above cresting waves in pursuit of flaming pearls, the rim of the bowl and cover notched and divided into six shallow lobes, bowl with two hairline cracks, repair to cover rim--8 1/4 in. (20.8cm.) diam., wood stand
