A PAIR OF DAYAZHAI YELLOW-GROUND BOWLS
YONG QING CHANG CHUN MARK IN IRON-RED ON THE BASE, LATE QING DYNASTY

Each with deep, flared sides rising to a scalloped rim, decorated in grisaille with a bird perched on a wisteria vine rising above herbaceous peony and continuing around the sides, with a dayazhai mark and a Tian di yi jia chun seal in iron-red below the gilded, scalloped rim, the interior and base covered in a turquoise glaze--6 in. (15.3cm.) diam., wood stands (2)
