In the form of a female head, the neck of the vessel with trefoil lip rising from the center of the head, and a single handle from the lip to back of the head, the woman, probably Persephone, wears disc-shaped earrings, a beaded necklace, and a diadem of rossettes and horse protomes, black glaze for the neck and handle, the face and hair with traces of white pigment--7 7/8 in. (19.7 cm.) high
