KATSUKAWA SHUNTEI: kakuban (21.3 x 18.7 cm.); a servant approaching the famous general Kato Kiyomasa who is seated on a terrace overlooking a river. He holds an open sensu fan in one hand and rests a halberd on his opposite shoulder. Accompanied by two poems by Yamato no Wadamori and Dondontei. Number three from a series entitled Buyu sanbantsuki "Three views of warriors", signed Katsukyuko Shuntei ga -- good impression and color, slightly creased and worn around the edges, otherwise very good condition
