A LARGE IRON-DECORATED JAR
CHOSON PERIOD (18/19TH CENTURY)
The large, ovoid jar with short foot and short, upright rim, vigorously painted in iron-brown with the scaled spine of a long dragon arching between banks of swirling clouds, its face not visible amongst the calligraphic clouds and 'mist', covered with a greyish white, shiny glaze with small, dense crackle- 12 1/2 in. (31.5 cm.) high
