A RETICULATED WHITE GLAZED BRUSH HOLDER
CHOSON PERIOD (19TH CENTURY)

The large, cylindrical brush pot pierced between two matching encircling bands with a meandering lotus stalk with thick stem, large blossoms, curling tendrils and buds, covered overall with a lustrous white glaze tinged blue which pools to a slightly darker blue tone in the etched detail lines of the flowers- 5 3/8 in. (13.5 cm.) high, 4 1/2 in. (11.5 cm.) diameter
