According to Kaycee Benton, this painting depicts the artist's daughter, Emily, on the grounds of the Cragsmoor Inn with the Shawangunk Mountains in the distance. Curran's Record Book states that the painting was also exhibited at the New York Public Library and at the Dayton Art Institute, with no dates given.
