The rectangular box with rounded corners of two tiers, the top tier fitted with two removable rectangular covered boxes decorated in gold takamaki-e on a kinji ground with a continuous scene of flowering trees by a stream and further fitted with a removable tray with matching cherry blossom decoration, the exterior of the box matching and the interiors and base nashiji- 5 1/2 x 4 x 3 3/4 in. (14 x 10.2 x 9.5 cm.), rim and corner chips and cracks, surface fading
