The first carved in the form of a fisherman holding a conch shell and a child holding a minogame smiling in greeting, the man's foot balanced on a rock and his right hand holding the brim of his sedge hat, the second a carved figure of a fisherman, large fish tied at his sash, creel at his feet and holding the base of a fishing pole, now missing, facial details and hair stained black, signed Hogyoku- 10 in. (25.5 cm.) and 8 1/8 in. (20.5 cm.) high, hairline age cracks (2)
