The large bronze naturalistically cast in the form of a striding fighting cock, with carefully articulated feathers, skin, claws and head, and applied with a detachable section of tail feathers finished in shakudo, the beak and eye gilt and the comb and neck finished in red, the detachable legs also gilt and the nails of the claws shakudo- 27 in. (68.5 cm.) high, gilt and shakudo finishes rubbed in places
