A STAR SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND DOUBLE CLIP BROOCH BRACELET, BY RAYMOND YARD
Each clip triangular in shape and centering on a star sapphire within an openwork diamond-set frame, mounted in platinum, to the rectangular link 14K white gold bracelet--6 ins. long
Accompanied by hand written instructions reading "To release clip pins from back of bracelet, open backs from underneath as far as possible and lift clip out. - Raymond C. Yard Inc."
Born Anita Stella Brown in Scotland in 1904, she attended the London Academy of Music and later took the stage name Stella Andreva in honor of her mentor. During her career she sang lyric soprano leading roles at the Covent Garden in London and was the only permanent foriegn member of the Swedish Opera where she sang for King Gustav. During the mid 1930's Stella moved to New York City, performing at the New York City Opera and the Metropolitan singing opposite famous leading men such as Jussi Bjoerling and Mario Lanza.
