AN ATTIC RED-FIGURE "NOLAN" AMPHORA
Circa mid 5th century B.C.

With, on the A side, a warrior wearing a helmet, a short chiton, cuirass and greaves, a shield in his hand, his dog walking in front, and, on the B side, a bearded man leaning on a stick, palmettes under the handles, mended, with large areas of restoration and minor losses-- 13in. (32.5cm.) high
