This plaque was edited for the commemoration of Louis Pasteur's birth centenial in Dôle, France; it was offered by René Lalique and sold by subscription for the Institut Pasteur profit; the motif on the medallion is the one from the doors of the Pasteur Museum in Strasbourg.
