The long, rectangular frame to hold vertical paintings or poem slips of tanzaku size decorated in gold hiramaki-e, hirame, nashiji, togidashi and gold foil on a roiro ground with flowering grasses, the bands of mist above rendered in togidashi and the clouds nashiji, the reverse roiro and the edges fundame, bronze handle for suspension, lacquer buckled slightly at slots for tanzaku papers
