This drawing of the White House was given by the artist to President Grover Cleveland. The First Lady, Mrs. Frances Folson Cleveland later gave the drawing to Mr. John W. Cadman, Jr. who was her godson. The drawing was then given to the present owner by Mr. Cadman.
