Château Cheval-Blanc--Vintage 1961
Saint-Emilion, 1er grand cru classé (A).
Regular bottles with top-shoulder and high-shoulder levels; magnum with top-shoulder level; all labels with slight soil
"Still incredibly deep, its rippling bouquet variously noted as
flowery, medicinal (often a touch of iron in Cheval-Blanc), rich, and
so forth. Consistently sweet, perfect weight, lovely flavour but
sometimes a light, citrus touch. Anyway I like it. Five stars. Drink
now." JMB
2 bottles and 1 magnumper lot
