A SILVER WATER PITCHER, maker's mark of William Thompson, Baltimore, circa 1830, vase shaped, on raised circular foot with chased foliate band and die rolled rim, the lower body chased with broad vertical acanthus band, two sides with applied circular medallion of a galleon at sea, the front with later applied shield form, monogrammed cartouche, with applied flowering foliate band to the shoulder and rim, with part foliate wrapped scroll handle--11in.
