AN AMERICAN SILVER WATER PITCHER, makers marks of Jones, Ball & Poor, W & G., also stamped with spread eagle within a shield, with CTJ below, PURE COIN, BOSTON, circa 1846, baluster, on part foliate chased molded raised circular foot, the body chased and engraved with vertical bands of flowering ruffled foliage, two sides with foliate C scroll enclosed chased dove within trelliswork, topped by shell, the front monogrammed on plain surface, the shoulder flat chased with C scroll enclosed scalework band, all on matted ground, with part engraved, acanthus capped scroll handle, with applied rim--12in.
