Shoemaker, Philadelphia, comprising teapot, two handled covered sugar bowl and cream jug, each urn form with double concave fluted corners, on short foot, front and back with shield form cartouche within finely reeded and foliate mantling topped by bright cut foliate sprig and flowerbasket, one cartouche monogrammed, the shoulder with convex band bright cut engraved with flowering foliage on finely reeded ground, with reeded harp form handle, the cover and foot with wrigglework bands, the teapot with wood handle, the hinged spool form cover topped by covered urn finial, the tongs monogrammed--the teapot 8½in.
