A VICTORIAN SILVER FOUR PIECE TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE, London, 1886, maker's mark of Martin & Hall, comprising coffee pot, teapot, two handled covered sugar bowl, and covered cream jug, each of baluster form, on an openwork stand with four scroll supports headed by masks above a shaped square base, on four ball feet, the sides with bands of figures and stylized ornament, the handles and spouts angular, each issuing from female caryatids, the covers domed and surmounted by centaur finials--coffee pot 9½ in. (24.1 cm.) high, gross weight 100oz. (4)
