A GEORGE II SILVER TEAPOT, London, 1750, maker's mark of Thomas Whipham, inverted pear shaped on molded circular foot, with part foliate scroll spout, wood scroll handle with leaf capped tubular join, the rim flat chased with flowering foliate and rocaille band, the hinged partly raised cover topped by baluster finial--5¾in. (14.6cm.) high, gross weight 17oz.
