A CONTINENTAL FOUR PIECE SILVER AND NIELLO TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE ON TRAY, bearing spurious marks for Moscow, 1862, assaymaster Viktor Savinkov, comprising teapot, coffee pot, two handled sugar bowl and cream jug, each slightly tapering cylindrical, on four scalework and foliate tapering feet, the bodies with undulating deminutive ivy on niello ground, between plain molded bands, with leaf decorated handle, plain spout, the raised molded hinged cover with niello band and topped by baluster finial--the coffee pot 6¾in. (17.1cm.) high; the oval tray with molded border and niello rim--15½in. (39.3cm.) long, gross weight 55oz.
