A STAFFORDSHIRE FIGURE GROUP OF PEASANTS, 19th century, impressed WM, painted in flesh tones and enamelled in iron-red balck, yellow, blue, brown, green, pink and gilt, depicting a peasant woman standing before a wall wearing laces bodice, full floral shirt and fringed stole balancing a sheaf of wheat on her head, her male companion standing at her left his right arm around the vase between them on the wall, 11 7/8in.
