Caldwell, PHILADA., the sugar bowl and cream jug maker's mark of Gorham, 1872, each ovoid with frosted finish, on short circular foot, the shoulder twice engraved with stippled and bright cut shaped oval panels with paterae and beaded band above, with shaped oval collar, with die rolled circular and strap handle, the teapot with scroll spout and handle, the hinged, part engraved, domed cover topped by baluster finial--the teapot 10in. (25.4cm.) high, gross weight 42.5oz.
