A SIX PIECE SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE, maker's mark of Gorham, 1924/1925, Portsmouth pattern, comprising tea kettle, stand and lamp, teapot, waisted necked coffee pot, two handled covered sugar bowl, cream jug and waste bowl, each boat shaped, on molded circular foot, two sides flat chased and engraved with opposing floral sprigs centering oval cartouche, one engraved with initial S, the other B, the molded collar with further sprig, applied rims, the pots with partly reeded scroll handle and spout, the hinged high domed cover topped by covered urn finial, the tea kettle on partly pierced base, the elliptical molded stand on four bun feet, issuing two bifurcated waisted scroll supports--tea kettle on stand over swing handle 13¼in. (33.6cm.), gross weight 118oz. (6)
