A VICTORIAN THREE PIECE SILVER TEA SERVICE, London, 1867, maker's mark of J. & J. Angell, comprising teapot, gilt lined two handled sugar bowl and cream jug, each of shaped outline, the eight shaped lobes engraved with alternately plain, one engraved with crest, and finely reeded foliate and C scrolls centering paterae, the bowed shoulder twice chased, the pot three times, with smiling male mask, with applied wavy rim, part openwork multi scroll handles, the teapot with part foliate scroll spout, the hinged fluted and domed cover conformingly engraved, topped by baluster finial--the teapot 8¼in. (20.9cm.) high, gross weight 47.5oz. (3)
