A VICTORIAN SILVER COFFEE POT, London, 1881, maker's mark of Frederick Elkington, Celtic style, the vase form body with rounded shoulder and cylindrical neck, on raised circular foot engraved with serrated band with applied beaded and corded border, the body four times applied with vertical stylized foliate strap, with reeded band overlaid with paterae reserve above, the shoulder applied alternately with raised decorated diamond and stylized daisy head within engraved scrolling foliage on stippled ground, and also issuing straight spout, the angular handle with trifurcated stylized foliate join below, above the join continuing around the neck, the hinged square ended oval partly raised cover part engraved and surmounted by conforming diamond finial--11in.
