TWO WORCESTER GREEN-TRELLIS FLUTED TEABOWLS AND A SAUCER
Circa 1770
Painted with puce flower garlands suspended from green trellis diapers; together with a coffee-cup and saucer painted in French-green and gilt with scattered flowers, a green chevron border added later; a fluted coffee-cup painted with fruit in a landscape and reserved on the later green-ground within gilt rocaille cartouches, and a later-decorated apple-ground scalloped dish painted with exotic birds in flight and walking in an extensive landscape within gilt rocaille scrolls; together with a Worcester teabowl circa 1755, printed in black with 'L'Amour' after Robert Hancock, the reverse with a monument, a dog and a roller on a garden terrace, the interior with a swan (8)
