THIRD QUARTER 19TH CENTURY

With an oval bevelled plate in a shaped rectangular frame swiveling between turned foliate-carved supports above a chamferred rectangular top inset with an oval bevelled glass panel, enclosing two ivory portrait medallions of a man and a woman centering a coat-of-arms, all above a conforming frieze fitted with two drawers centering the monograms 'LR' over a flag inscribed 'Montioye St. Denys', on shaped trestle ends with paw feet and a turned cross-stretcher carved with serpents heads, applied overall with ivory leaf-tips, frolicking putti, grotesque masks, and various crests--68in. (172.7cm.) high, 36¼in. (90cm.) wide, 21½in. (54.6cm.) deep
