A DERUTA MAIOLICA PINE-CONE VASE, CIRCA 1520, naturalistically modelled and painted blue--12½in.; together with a green-glazed terracotta pine cone finial--8 3/8in. high; an Orvieto maiolica bowl, 14th century, decorated in manganese and green with a stylized bird within concentric geometric bands--11in. diam.; an Orvieto maiolica two-handled bowl, 14th century, similarly decorated with a medieval beast and hunter on a cross-hatched ground--14½in. wide overall; and an Orvieto maiolica holy water bucket, 15th century, decorated on the front and back in manganese and green with a Maltese cross within a circle, with fixed loop handle--6¼in. diam.
