A cloisonne enamel koro
signed Namikawa, Meiji Period
with pierced foliate cover, decorated in gold wire on a mushroom ground with highlights in olive, with a meandering stream before a bridge among a rocky mountainous landscape, with a narrow band of stylised wave ornament at the mouth, raised on three short supports, with applied shakudo (copper-gold alloy) rim and base, signature tablet -- 5½in. (13.9cm.) high, (the enamel surface with extensive damages).
